What to pack for your student life in Edinburgh
Packing can feel overwhelming, but with a bit of planning, it's manageable. Make a list of essentials like bedding, toiletries, and clothes.
Likely, you won’t want to carry a duvet and bedlinens on your journey here, so consider pre-ordering bedding to be delivered ahead of your arrival. Just let us know and we'll ensure it's safely stored for you.
Edinburgh's weather can be quite unpredictable, so it's wise to pack plenty of layers for those chilly days that can suddenly change when the sun comes out! And don't forget to bring some personal touches from home, like photos and decor to make your new apartment feel like home.
For a stress-free journey, courier services can collect your luggage and deliver it to your destination on arrival day, sparing you from dragging suitcases around. There are lots of courier options available online, so you can easily find one that fits your needs and preferences.

Thanks to the magic of the internet and Google Maps, you can scout out the local area, find nearby shops and supermarkets, and get a sense of familiarity before you even arrive. So when you do get here, you'll know exactly where to go to stock up on all your essentials hassle-free.
